New World Mall's Food Court has become my new favorite Asian food place in Flushing. Take the escalator down to the basement level to find an impressive variety of Asian, largely Chinese, food offered; you can find almost all the regional Chinese cuisines, from Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles to Fuzhou fishball soups to Tianjin dumplings. The underground space is always packed with people, which makes it almost impossible to find a seat during dinnertime, so be ready to take food to go or jostle for a seat. But I don't mind that inconvenience given how cheap the food is.

BigBang and 2NE1 have been invited to perform at the annual Springroove Musical Festival. The lineup includes LMFAO, David Guetta, Pixie Lott, Afrojack, Bobby Burns, and many more. Springroove is known to be one of the biggest R&B and HipHop music festival in Japan.

This event will be held in Osaka at Kobe World Memorial Hall on March 31st (Sat) and in Chiba at the Makuhari Messe Hall on April 1st (Sun).

Kickoff Event
March 1-3, Grand Central Terminal
Flavors of Japan will kick off a series of celebration in the famed NYC landmark, Grand Central Terminal. This event is open to the public, featuring new food products by leading companies as well as cultural performances.

Hitomi Shimatani is a relatively popular singer in the J-Pop scene, who has made her debut back then in 1999. Apart from being a singer, Hitomi is a popular television personality and is an actress. She has a reputation of having powerful vocals and her beauty has labelled her as being one of the most beautiful personalities in Japan. Her trademark is her long hair.

Despite the fact that she is not extremely popular and is not one of avex’s biggest source of revenue, Hitomi still manages to attract a fair amount of attention. She has her personal fanclub called Eye-Land. Hitomi’s personality is rather well mannered and she is a compliant woman to work with, according to those who have done so. Hitomi frequents many music and radio programmes, just because she an interesting person. For these reasons she has made a lot of friendships and connections with various personalities, most notably the illustrious actress Yukie Nakama and Ryoko Kuninaka.

Day 1: Australia-Tokyo
Enjoy overnight flight from your Australia home city to Narita/Tokyo. 
Day 2: Arrive Tokyo  Welcome to Japan!Upon arrival, transfer to Narita airport hotel for check in by hotel shuttle bus. 
Day 3: Tokyo  B L DThis morning we enjoy a picturesque drive into Tokyo via National Diet building, visit Imperial Palace and its East Garden followed by a tea ceremony at Happoen then onto Asakusa Kannon Temple and enjoy some shopping with our guide. We also have our first look at the gorgeous cherry blossoms at Ueno and Sumida parks. If time permit, we will also take you to visit Tsukiji outer market. Late afternoon transfer to visit Odaiba area and overlooking the fantastic night view of rainbow bridge while you are enjoying your dinner. 
Day 4: Tokyo-Lake Kawaguchi    B L D   After breakfast visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and travel up to the observatory, later travel through the spectacular countryside to Mt. Fuji and Hakone, visit Hakone arts and crafts centre, Owakudani valley, Peace park, and Oshino Hakkai if time permits.Lake Kawaguchiko is the most accessible of the 5 lakes of the Fuji Five Lakes. This evening we enjoy a truly unique Japanese custom and experience by staying at an Onsen Ryokan which is a Japanese traditional inn with hot spring facilities. 
Day 5: Mt.Fuji-Toyohashi    B L DMorning visit Mt. Fuji area, up to 5th Station if weather permits. After lunch, transfer to Toyohashi on the east coast – a major port for export and import in Japan.Upon arrival, check in and enjoy your dinner. 
Day 6: Toyohashi-Kyoto   B L DDrive to Kyoto, Japan’s ancient capital city and famous worldwide for its temples and shrines and wonderful Japanese traditional architecture. Visit Kinkakuji-Golden pavilion,enjoy a Kimono show at Nishin Ori Centre followed by a visit to Kiyomizu temple and then take a stroll along the Philosopher’s Path.Overnight in Kyoto. 
Day 7: Kyoto-Hiroshima  B LFree in the morning to explore Kyoto city at your own pace. Catch the bullet Train to Hiroshima after lunch, visit Itsukushima shrine at Miyajima.  Hiroshima is an industrial city of wide boulevards, criss-crossing rivers and a dense city centre. It is located along the coast of the Seto Inland Sea in the western Chugoku region of Japan. Although many only know it for the horrific split second on August 6, 1945, when it became the site of the world's first atomic bomb attack, it is now a modern, cosmopolitan city with a multitude of great food and nightlife. Overnight in Hiroshima. 
Day 8: Hiroshima-Osaka  B LMorning visit to The Atomic Bomb Dome and Museum and the famous Peace Memorial Park.After lunch catch the bullet Train to Osaka – the food capital of Japan. Visit Osaka Castle in the afternoon – the strongest and most beautiful castle in Japan. Check in hotel for your 2 nights stay. 
Day 9: Osaka-Himeiji-Kobe-Osaka  B L DAfter Breakfast, drive to Himeiji Castle-the first castle built in Japan. Drive to  Kobe city on the way back, visit Famous Nankin Machi China Town and wander along Kobe portside. Visit a Sake Brewery and travel back to Osaka for last minute shopping at Shisaibashi mall. Tonight we enjoy a special farewell dinner at hotel. 
Day 10: Osaka  BFree until transfer to airport for your flight to Australia. 
Day 11: Arrive AustraliaArrive in the morning with sweet memories of Japan and the Cherry Blossoms and fascinating culture.
